Success for the Academy in the RFU Presidents XV

The Academy submission for the RFU Presidents XV Awards has received the Runners Up prize in the More Coaches Category.

Introduced during the 2006/07 season by then President Bob Rogers, the President's XV Award scheme seeks to identify and reward best practice in community rugby clubs. To date, over 100 projects have received recognition for making an outstanding contribution to the development of grassroots rugby.

As a team game, recognition in rugby should not just focus on individuals, but highlight the efforts that clubs go to make our sport the great game that it is.

The President's XV scheme has 15 categories (PDF 329kB), selected by the RFU President, that clubs and other rugby organisations can nominate themselves for.
