The Academy welcomes new members every September and throughout the season dependent upon age, availability of places and experience. For the 2013 / 14 season, training will commence on Sunday 8th September.
The next general intake will be on Saturday 7th September 2013, between 09.00 and 12.00 at the Club and since places for new players are allocated on a first come first served basis, those interested in registering with us are urged to contact the Academy Vice-Chairman and Membership Secretary - Kevin Gollop - who will be delighted to provide further information and assistance with the registration process. Please note that in order to join the Academy all players must have attained their 6th birthday by the 31st August and thus be in school year 2.
New players are reminded that gumshields are compulsory in all age groups. The Academy will supply new players with a Wet Training Top, Wet Training Pants, Shorts and Water Bottle. Replica Shirts, Socks, Beanies and other items are available for purchase from the Club Shop. We recommend Base Layers / Skins and Fingerless Gloves for the winter months - available online or from local stores and obviously all players need boots.
Please be advised that all players are required to register with the Membership Secretary BEFORE they commence training.

PLEASE NOTE: where a Family Membership includes registered players, can you also complete / submit an Individual Membership Form for each child. Where possible please provide home and mobile telephone numbers and email addresses which you can access in the evening and at weekends, this will greatly assist our Squad Managers.

Discounted rates apply after 1st January.
Please note that a proportion of the Academy's subscriptions are now liable to GST at 5%.
Completed forms, together with a cheque should be sent by mail to the Academy Membership Secretary, JRFC, Rue Des Landes, St Peter, JE3 7BG.
For online registrations, payment still needs to be made by cheque if by post or cash or cheque at the Clubhouse. Cheques should be made payable to JRFCA.
Alternatively, payment can be made directly to the JRFCA account at HSBC - sort code 40-25-41, account number 21385046. Please, please ensure that you give your child's name as a reference.
Calling all volunteers - if you feel that you would like to become more involved than being a touchline supporter, either within your child's particular squad or on a wider basis within the Academy, for example, at Committee level, please contact the Academy Chairman - Kevin Lemasney - as with the growth of the Academy, we are always on the lookout for additional pairs of hands. At the present time we are particularly seeking someone to function as a Sunday Morning Manager, giving directions, answering questions, etc. This is an important role and if you think that you can help please contact any Academy official in the first instance. We are also seeking a replacement Volunteers Co-ordinator for 2013 / 14 as after 19 years sterling service in various roles, our Kit Master Bron Le Brun is stepping down and our current Volunteers Co-ordinator Julie Inns will be taking over such role. We also continue to seek volunteers generally to assist on specific occasions, such as the Siam Cup and for French speakers to both assist our visiting teams from France and to accompany squads to France. If you think that you might be able to lend a hand, please have a chat with our Volunteers Co-ordinator, Julie Inns. You will usually find Julie "manning" the Academy Kit Store on a Sunday morning.
Breaking News : The Academy Kit Store is relocating from the Clubhouse landing to a much improved facility in the Bokke Bar portakabin alongside the Barclays Pavilion for the coming season.

The club shop opening times are: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday each week from 10am to 1pm, matchday afternoons 1-5pm. The shop is not open on Sunday mornings during the off-season.
The shop will be closed for half term week from 27th to 31st May.
