NEWSFLASH..... FRIDAY'S SOCIAL EVENING AT THE RUGBY CLUB WAS GREAT FUN, THANKS TO ALL WHO ATTENDED, DONATED RAFFLE PRIZES OR BOUGHT TICKETS AND HELPED TO MAKE THE EVENING SUCH A SUCCESS. WE RAISED £1,059 WHICH WILL REMAIN WITH OUR SQUAD FOR THE BENEFIT OF OUR CHILDREN. MANY THANKS TO ALL.

PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE REGULARLY as this will be the principal means of communication with players and parents. If training is cancelled or moved to an alternative venue notice will be placed here by 6pm on the preceding Saturday evening.
Please take note of the following important points as we move into contact rugby for the first time:
All players need to wear a gumshield and bring a drink of water to every session.
Clothing with hoods or zips must not be worn for training.
A parent or nominated responsible adult must be on the premises during training - we don't mind if you take advantage of coffee and bacon rolls upstairs in the clubhouse but please don't leave the Club grounds!
The coaches are mindful that this will be players' first experience of contact and their main priority is the safety of the children. We want everyone to have as much fun as possible and to learn the principles of teamwork, respect and sportsmanship that Rugby commands.
Please impress upon your players the need to listen and pay attention.
KIT:- Please name all your child's Academy Kit - especially the wet-tops. With over 80 players in our group alone it is inevitable that kit will be misplaced and naming everything will ensure it can be returned. YOU CAN HAVE YOUR CHILD'S NAME PRINTED ON THEIR WET TOP FREE OF CHARGE AT MAGIC TOUCH ON THE WEYBRIDGE.
MEMBERSHIP:- AS WE NOW HAVE OVER 80 REGISTERED PLAYERS WE WILL NOT BE TAKING NEW MEMBERS FOR THE TIME BEING Prospective players may still register with the Membership Secretary who will add their name to the waiting list
PARKING ON PITCH 6 - whilst we are lucky to have some limited parking on Pitch 6 please park sensibly! Cars must be a MINIMUM of 10m away from the marked out playing areas to ensure the safety of our players.
